[DM] How Do I Delete Attachments?

Deleting Attachments in Viewpoint

1. Learn About Settings:

   • Press F1 on any field in DM Attachment Options to understand its function.

2. Delete a Few Attachments:

   • Use DM Attachment Index Search.

   • Select the documents, click Manage Selected Attachment → Delete, then close.

3. Delete a Large Group of Attachments:

   • Use DM Expired Documents Purge.

   • Optionally, back up documents to a network directory before purging.

   • You can purge all documents for one attachment type or all types.

4. Important:

   • Only documents older than the retention time set in DM Attachment Types will be deleted.
