[PM] Copy Project

Project Management> Programs> PM Copy Project


PMCP1. Select your Source Project

Select F4 and select your Job Copy Template

Create a Job Copy Template to copy if you have not




*Destination Project - This will build basic information into PM Projects

PMCP2. Enter in your Project Number

Make sure you follow your numbering order and view your last entered job number

Press F4 to see the open list of jobs to see the last entered job




PMCP3. Edit the Description 

Suggestion: Customer-Description of Contract Job



PMCP4. Liability Template

Verify your Liability Template is correct




PMCP5. State

Verify your State is correct. This identifies where the project is located.




*Destination Contract- This will build basic information into PM Contracts
PMCP6. Verify your contract number

This should auto populate, verify it is correct.



PMCP7. Verify your description

This should auto populate, verify it is correct. 

 



PMCP8. Department

F4 to Select your Department

Example WIP jobs vs. Non WIP or if you have specific departments


PMCP9. Customer

F4 to Select your AR Customer

Is it the owner, is it the GC? Who will you be billing?




PMCP10. Retainage

Enter the retainage percent for the contract.

This can also be used as the default. You can create this PM Contracts>Info Tab> Default Retainage Field





PMCP11. Start Month

Enter the contract's start month.



PMCP12. Copy Amounts

Using a template company the below won't do anything, but if you want to copy another job that's exact see below:

None - Do not copy any contract or estimate amounts from the job copy

All Amounts - Copy contract and estimate amounts

Original Estimates only - Copy ONLY estimate amounts from original




PMCP13. Additional Information to Copy

Select the checkbox of other items you want copied over from the job template
 



PMCP14. Select Copy

Copy Select Copy once you're ready to copy the project




PMCP15. Select Yes OR No

You have successfully copied this project. If you are only completing one select "No". If you are going to be creating multiple select "Yes".
