[PR] Employee Raises, Communication, and Entry

Client Calls or Emails you that an employee is receiving a raise.     

STEWARD
1. Send an email to the client, saying that we will be giving “employee” a raise for $x.xx starting on mm/dd/yy. Please reply to this email for confirmation. Client reply as soon as possible.
We Need:
Employee
Amount

Effective Date            

STEWARD

2. Once email is confirmed, steward send the emails to payroll@silvertrek.net and to customer.
SCRIBE
3. Enter in the information for the employee from trello, into HR Salary History
4. Attach email/any additional backup to HR Salary History entry
5. Open HR Update Benefit/Salary to PR
At pop-up screen:
Choose Create a new batch 
Enter the appropriate Batch Month
Click OK:
5. In the next screen:
Check Restrict by Employee
Check Use HR Resource #
Enter employee number in box
Check Post Salary to PR
Enter Effective Date (date of pay raise)
Click Update (employee data fills in at the bottom; make sure it is correct)
Click Post

Entering in a raise

1. Open HR Resource Master 
In Resource # field, enter the number of employee receiving the raise:

2. Click on Salary History tab: (upper row, far right)

Enter the Effective Date
Under Type, Click the drop-down arrow and choose Hourly or Salary
Under New Salary/Rate, enter the correct amount
Click Save icon and exit this screen

3. In the next screen, Click Validate

Upon successful validation, Click Post
Go to Payroll employee and verify that raise has been recorded in PR.
