HR Company Parameters > PR Update Options controls what information is updated when synchronized from PR to HR or HR to PR.

PR Update Options
This section controls which information is automatically synced between HR Resources and PR Employees.
Automatic updates occur only if:
The resource has a valid PR employee number (for HR → Payroll updates)
The employee has a valid resource number (for Payroll → HR updates)
If an option is unchecked:
Updates must be made manually.
Options available for automatic updates:
Name: Name, birth date, race, gender
Address: Includes email address
Hire/Termination Date
Active Flag
Timecard Defaults: Department, craft, class, local code, earnings code, insurance code and state, tax state, unemployment state
W-4 Info: Deductions, exemptions, filing status
Occupation Category: Category and category status
Social Security Number
Salary and Benefits are not updated automatically. These require running HR Update Benefit/Salary to PR and processing the batch.
