SUMMARY


Create a Silvertrek Systems SSO user account in Vista with the email techservices@silvertrek.net

Set the user up with full permissions in Vista and grant dbo


Have Viewpoint whitelist IP address 50.173.26.222 and 104.42.57.116


Provide login and connection information to Silvertrek




Silvertrek's preferred method of access for technical projects for Viewpoint Cloud customers is through Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). Click here for AVD setup instructions.



To create the user account:

  1. Add an account in VA User Profile
    1. User Name: silvertrek
    2. Full Name: Silvertrek Systems
    3. Email Address: techservices@silvertrek.net
    4. Phone: (360) 667-3340
    5. Is SSO Account: yes
    6. Permissions: 
      1. Menu Administrator
      2. Form Administrator
      3. View Application Logs
    7. Grant Tab
      1. Click "Grant Full Access"
      2. Click "Grant DBO" (If you get an error, create a support ticket to request your user to be granted DBO)
  2. Whitelist Silvertrek's IP Address
    1. Create a support ticket with Viewpoint, requesting that they whitelist 50.173.26.222 and 104.42.57.116 for SQL access
  3. Provide the following access information to Silvertrek:
    1. Confirm SSO account uses techservices@silvertrek.net
    2. Vista Server URL (https://<code>-vrl.viewpointforcloud.com)
    3. Database connection address (<code>-sql.viewpointdata.cloud,<port>)
