Connecting with AVD

1. Install the Azure Virtual Desktop Client (Windows Remote desktop)

   DO NOT INSTALL THE MICROSOFT APP STORE VERSION
2. Open Windows Remote Desktop (Not the same as Remote Desktop Connection)
3. Click the 3 dots and click "Subscribe"

1. Log in with the AVD Microsoft account. The email will be in the format F.Last.CODE@viewpoint.cloud
2. If it asks you to use Microsoft authenticator, click "I can't use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now" followed by "Use a verification code". The code can be obtained from LastPass.
   If LastPass is not set up to generate a code, please set it up.
3. Once you get logged in, you will see the available apps. Double click to open.

1. To log in to Vista, use a classic ID:
   Server: CODEd1.viewpoint.local
   Username: VIEWPOINT\F.Last.CODE
   Password: same as microsoft password
