[HR] How to Record Unrequested Leave

From the Human Resources module's Programs folder, open the HR Resource Schedule form.



  1. In the Resource field, press F4 to select the resource for the leave.
  2. In the Date field, provide the date on which the leave occurs.
  3. In the Schedule Code field, press F4 to select the code identifying the type of leave.
  4. In the Description field, provide a short description of the leave.
  5. In the Schedule Hours field, provide the number of hours needed for the leave.
  6. Any comments about the leave from the requestor or the approver may be provided in the Requestor Comments and Approver Comments fields.
  7. From the Request Status drop-down list, select a status for the leave: New, Approved, Denied, or Canceled.
  8. Save the record.
